E1 Visa Denied in Taiwan

My E1 visa got denied at the US Consulate in Taiwan. I work at a food import company as a manager. The officer asked me what my daily job is when I was getting the interview, I forgot to explain to her that I am the one in charge the company while my boss leaves the country. (he has to leave for visiting suppliers overseas every 2-3 months.) I believe it is the reason why the officer think I dont actually work at a manager posotion, then the officer rejected my E1 Visa.  Should I  re-apply?   What kind of documents can help me to prove I really work as a manager position?

You can either reapply for the E1 visa in Taiwan (AIT) with stronger supporting documentation or we can petition the US Department of State and ask them to review the denial and instruct AIT to issue the E1 visa. We have taken both paths in previous cases and have had success in each. We’ll have to review your case in more detail to determine your best course of action.

Erroneous E1 Visa Denial at the US Consulate in London

My E1 visa application was denied at the US Consulate in London. I work for a small manufacturer. We supply computer components to US companies. The reason for denial was that 50% of the materials used to produce the components were not from the U.K. We’ve never had this kind of problem before. Is it a new requirement? Is there another visa I can get?

There is no such E1 visa requirement. Contact my office. We can get in touch with the consular officer’s supervisor and get this decision overturned and the visa issued.

TD Visa Holder Wants to Open a Business in the US

My wife and I are Canadian citizens currently living in the US. She is working on TN visa and I have a TD visa. I own an organic tea importing/exporting business in Canada. I want to expand that business in the US as well. I am planning to contact the tea retail stores or cafes in the US and negotiate a deal so that I can supply tea from Canada to those stores in the US. Can I do that with my current TD visa or do I need another visa? How much would you charge for helping me obtain the right visa?

Unfortunately, the TD visa does not authorize employment in the US. You would need to change your status to H1B visa or E1 visa in order to run your import/export company from the US.
