Whether F-1 remains valid depends on compliance with the F-1 requirements, including enrollment, work authorization, and SEVIS records. School admission and tuition classification are separate institutional questions. Marriage to a US citizen does not automatically grant immigration status or employment authorization, and the marriage based filing route depends on the spouse&#8217;s immigration status, the student&#8217;s entry and status history, and adjustment eligibility.
